Marie and Leo stood at the center of this gathering, a beacon of warmth and authenticity. Their commitment to each other, underscored by the personal touch of handwritten notes to each guest, transformed an already precious ceremony into something transcendent. It can be easy to get lost in the theatrics of wedding days, but when you shift focus to the relationships and the bond shared with each invitee, the atmosphere changes entirely. The notes, each one a testament to their appreciation and connection, invited everyone into their world. It was inviting us to experience the strength of their circle.

As I quietly moved around during the ceremony, it was lovely to see how they and their guests immersed themselves in the moment, the gravity of the moment obvious as they exchanged vows amidst the beauty of the artwork around them.

The next evening, the joyful celebration migrated to Wilderness Events. In this space, creativity was encouraged in a myriad of ways. Their ceremony film played in one corner, laughter peppered amid games in another, and dancing became its own language.

Being part of moments like this, where the focus is on genuine connections and heartfelt celebrations, reminds me of how special it is to document love stories. To just capture life as it unfolds in the most honest and simple ways is so impactful.
