DOCUMENTARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | MINNEAPOLIS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Emma and Carter had a day filled with joy and love. Their focus was clear – they wanted to enjoy every second with their friends and family. It felt genuine and real.
The couple chose to capture their day with both digital and analog film. The film brought a unique warmth and texture to their photos. It added a classic, artful touch, one that is my personal favorite to utilize at events.
As they moved through their day, laughter echoed in the air. Their friends surrounded them, sharing hugs and stories. Every smile caught on camera felt honest and true. The moments were not staged or forced. They were everyday celebrations of love and connection. And as a documentary photographer, I know deep in my soul that these photographs are the ones that can’t be recreated.
In capturing their day, the focus remained on what truly mattered. It was about being present. It was about feeling connected. The photographs show Emma and Carter living in those moments, reflecting a celebration of everyday life.
I often say one of the biggest gifts I can give my couples is the ability to be present, and to live in the moment without having to think about their photographs. I think that became more and more evident throughout their final curated gallery, that their ability to be present created images that could never have even dreamed of.
If you’re curious about a completely documentary approach to your wedding photography, reach out. I’d love to help you create the images of your dreams.
