CANDID ENGAGEMENT SESSION | DOCUMENTARY COUPLES SESSION | APPLE ORCHARD PHOTOGRAPHY

Fall is a beautiful time of year, especially for capturing special moments like anniversaries. One of my recent shoots took place at Aamodt’s Apple Farm, creating a cozy and romantic atmosphere. The goal was to document the couple’s love story naturally and candidly, highlighting the simplicity and warmth of their relationship.

Aamodt’s Apple Orchard provided the perfect backdrop for this anniversary session. The orchard was filled with beautiful autumn colors, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The couple strolled hand in hand through the rows of apple trees, sharing laughter and intimate moments. Plus Ashley and Joseph were engaged at an apple orchard in 2017, so they reminisced on that time and what it felt like.

Throughout the session, they kept things simple and natural. I didn’t interrupt the couple or ask them to pose. Instead, I observed and captured the little glances, the gentle touches, and the tender embraces. Plus Ashley is a professional photographer herself with The Coe Collective, so I let her lead the way in areas she found beautiful.

The fall weather added an extra touch of coziness to the session. The couple cozied up in warm sweaters, creating a sense of comfort and togetherness. The golden hues of the leaves and the soft sunlight added a magical touch.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to have captured such a beautiful anniversary session at Aamodt’s Apple Orchard. The setting, combined with the couple’s love and natural chemistry, created a truly memorable experience.
