Kenzi and Kyle went through a lot to make it to this day.

Through all of the hardship, they were still able to keep so many of the aspects of their day as their own – from Kenzi’s grand entrance on a horse pulled carriage to meaningful and intimate dances with each other and their parents, there were so many moments throughout the day that had meaning and intention. They even shared private, personal vows during their portraits after their ceremony to have a piece of the day completely to themselves.

And just as wonderful, was the way everybody was happy to see each other.

With each turn, I saw a new person excited to greet somebody they hadn’t seen in forever – and that feeling was infectious throughout the day.
