MADELINE ISLAND WEDDING | INTIMATE CABIN WEDDING |

Mel and Jed knew they wanted something that would show off their beautiful property on Madeline Island.

They were so excited to host their ceremony right on their 200 feet of beach on Lake Superior, under an arch made of driftwood found on that very beach. They put up a tent in the backyard and filled the area with beautiful shades of blue, reflecting on the colors found in the water. Jed even took a midday swim, with other guests following suit.

Ultimately, it came down to this: how can they best stay true to themselves, while celebrating their union, and spending time in the way they love to.

Moments to look for? Dogs, everywhere. Mel hiding behind a privacy screen (and them subsequently knocking it over). Literally tying the knot. A birthday candle blowout. A quick swim. The rainbow of the century (and following sunset of the century). And more
