Sara wanted a unique type of photography session.

Having looked forward to her wedding for her entire life, she was dedicated to not only feeling great about her event, but she was invested in creating images that she knew she would love too. She asked me to come along to her dress shopping, so that she could have images from the experience (but also images to look back on while she waited for the dress to arrive).

It proved to be an incredible experience. She got to remember the dresses that never were, while cherishing the dress that she chose. She also got to look back on different iterations of belts and veils, as well as that cherished “I said Yes!” sign that Christian Lane Bridal celebrates you with.

Ultimately, this session proved to be one of my favorites of all time. Sara gets to look back on this memory with incredible images – her face when she found the dress, her mom hugging her, and all of her favorite people looking on with love.

Like all the other people I work with, these session is completely candid and undirected. You just live your life, go the places you need to go, do the things you need to do. There’s no direction, no “stand here and do this” no intervening in your life – which means the images look and feel more like you than you could ever imagine.
