Elle + Dakota centered their event around their people.

Inviting only 21 of their closest friends and family, everybody invited to the wedding took part in all aspects of the day. Everybody invited was there, getting ready, right alongside them. All the guests got to walk into the ceremony. Everybody celebrate with the couple in the way they dreamed of for so many months.

Elle and Dakota hosted their gathering at Larsmont Cottages in Two Harbors – right on the lake, something of incredible meaning to both of them. They had the freedom to be married along the foggy shores, to explore the rocks and water as they so pleased, and to always have a view of the lake that took their breath away.

Moments to look for? Big joy in getting ready. Dad presenting a necklace during the first look. A first touch with letters, and Dakota’s incredible response to Elle walking down the aisle. Exploring the water in the way only they know how. An entrance immediately turns into a dance, followed by a tequila toast and speeches that knocked everyone off their feet (and warmed their hearts).
