Lacy said to me, “I can’t wait to see how you see our day.”

Honestly, I’ve never really thought of it that way. I know that it’s inherently true of photography that this is the way I see things. But I’ve always thought of it more as what went down, with a neutral observer. Creating images of whatever the heck happened.

And that’s what happened here. Lacy + Levi gathered with 26 of their favorite people (and put them all at the same table) and celebrated their next step. They played and hugged and watched the sunset and sat around a fire and did all the things that they enjoy. And just make it another big party.
